John von Neumann (1903-1957)

John von Neumann was a mathematician who lectured at Princeton University. He did pioneering work in computer theory in logical design, the function of memory, and a machine’s imitation of randomness. He was a consultant for IBM in the 1950’s to review proposed and ongoing advanced technology projects. For indepth biographical information on von Neumann go to--
